Last week, the Boy and I planned a brunch date with a few of our friends.
Always keen to find new places to go and eat, we arranged to meet at a place we’ve never been to or tried before. The Boy and I slowly made our way to Sheung Wan, where the café is located, and mooched around the area for a bit before we met with our friends.
Tucked away in a corner at the end of Po Hing Fong street in Sheung Wan, 3rd Space is the perfect hideaway from the buzzing Central. We sat at their cute outdoor space where wooden tables and chairs are all set up next to each other. Above us was an ingenious automated cover that can be opened or pulled away depending on the weather (a real plus and must-have, in my opinion, for all outdoor venus in Hong Kong). Seriously loving this simple yet effective side-lighting. Now on to the food… For the boy, he chose the weekly special of crispy pork loin burger with egg sunny side up. Yummmmmmmmm!
And for yours truly….

It was a huge shame that I didn’t get to try their matcha pancakes that I kept drooling over via their Instagram page! Apparently, they were in the middle of fine-tuning the recipe and perfecting the matcha powder that they use for the pancakes. Buuuuuut, they happily informed me that they will re-launch these pancakes around mid-October. So, without a doubt, I am definitely going to go back to 3rd Space to try these babies!
For all you HK dog lovers and dog owners, this is one place you can happily take your pups to! After speaking with my friends, there are unfortunately still a very small number of restaurants in Hong Kong that are dog-friendly or that allow dogs. So, no wonder Lily was so excited and happy to be with her mummy, daddy and friends for a spot of brunch, she showed us a few of her dancing moves…
Another plus to add to the list, 3rd Space is seriously toddler friendly! From having high-chairs for the little ‘uns, kid-loving and super friendly waiter/waitresses to cute doggies everywhere for the kids to play with or get distracted by so the ‘rents can chat away with friends!
I say this makes 3rd Space the perfect place to chill, get together with friends and family, have a laid-back brunch with your beloved dogs, or even a place to go to for a pre-proposal energy fuel (one of our friends and her fella got engaged later that day during a romantic hike with their beautiful pooches)!!!!
All my ♥,
